BIO - Mike McKenna

Practitioner.  Instructor.  Borne from over 20 years of hands-on experience, Mike McKenna has been delivering valuable training content on topics ranging from White Collar Crime Investigations to Public/Private Sector Facilitation to all facets of Search & Rescue Response to Preparedness and Contingency Planning to over 6000 participants from local, state, federal and international local law enforcement, fire service and private industry. 

Mike holds a Law Enforcement instructor certification, several Department of Homeland Security instructor credentials, security clearances with international manufacturers and has been designated an expert in state and federal court.  Mike currently develops and delivers emergency response related courses designed to improve his student’s planning and execution. 

As an Urban Search & Rescue practitioner, Mike has deployed to most of the largest US disasters including the Space Shuttle crash, Hurricanes Katrina, Ike and others. 

These robust lessons fuel his private consultancy and speaking engagements. 

The experiences gathered from the years spent involved in these activities are the driving force behind the innovative, balanced and battle tested material presented to TEAM Solution's clients.  Borne from those rich and noteworthy experiences arose high level skills, knowledge, attitude - and resulting portfolio - on how Retaining Lessons from each event, Informed Preparation, Developing and Meeting Objectives, Accurate Execution, Service Oriented Business Development and Investing in the Right People can all literally and figuratively make or break a project, business, organization, etc.

Since 1999 Mike has dispensed training and education to over 6000 students and has been honored to speak at numerous national and international conventions on topics ranging from Information Crimes, White Collar & Organized Crime Investigations, Human Remains Detection, Product Security, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.

His audiences have been equally diverse. 

►  In the public sector, Mike has trained and consulted hundreds of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, fire agencies and state sponsored emergency response agencies from around the world and at regional police and fire academies in over 20 states.

►  In the private sector, Mike has consulted and trained international product manufacturers, international law firms, public service agencies, non-profit corporations and forward thinking corporations in need of Solutions.       

Even though he has already invested more than 7000 hours of relevant training that he draws from to benefit his clients, Mike continues to invest several hundred hours per year attending classes to further his own training.  TEAM Solution's clients benefit greatly from the most current methods and materials available.

Mike's commitment to serving extends beyond his consulting advice.  He personally volunteers to his community nearly 1000 hours per year.

Above all else, Mike puts his family first.  He enjoys outdoor activities, exploring, learning, serving and relaxing with his beautiful wife, brilliant children and spunky dogs.  They reside in a suburb of Ft. Worth Texas USA.
